Hey guys, I just want you all to know that you won't be seeing me in-game until I get my almost lag-free laptop back (unless I can get on my mom's laptop but I wouldn't stay for long). I estimate it may take a few days, or less.

I'll still check the forums as usual, so not to worry. (:

I think I might get it back tonight, if not tomorrow.
But since my hard drive was wiped, I guess it'll take an extra few days to transfer the stuff I have on this comp. ^_^"

naz, theres a program called easyrecover that might get your data back even after the format.

just ask someone who knows about pcs, it doesnt need to be a tech guy...

the only thing is that the drive you wanna check has to be a slave drive...idk how to do that on a laptop.

Well, whenever there IS an easy way out of things, it ends up not working.

EDIT: Er, I looked online, and EasyRecover costs $499... I can't pay that myself seeing as I have a $100 limit on my card per month. My above statement still holds true. *sigh*

ive done it...not so easy girl but its not really hard tho and im no tech. i mean, some comp geek friend might know or might find the way.

I found a program that's free and might be able to help you out. It's called "Recuva."

Anyways, I just remembered that if the person who wiped your drive used a secure wiping method, the files may be virtually or literally irrecoverable. And even if the person simply formatted the drive without thought to security, many or most of the files may be overwritten completely by now. It's worth a shot though!
